sembreak seekin'

Hola chicos! que tal?
I haven't updated for months.. I've been really Busy. Yeah I’ve been preoccupied with school things it's been a pretty busy and intense I spent all my last week prepping for my exam. Our Pol.Dy exam as always THE KILLER. I thought I was very well prepared for it. My heart was pounding so fast, I was so nervous, I could not calm down. If there was a panic button, I would have pushed it long ago. hahaha!! I Keep my fingers crossed, I want to pass with a good average. So that’s the reason I haven’t had a chance to share anything on here for a while. Ok, exam is over, the day is starting to markedly improve. Now to just keep it going in this direction! I come back and I’ll surely have tons of stories to tell.

Now that exam is over, what do I have in mind?

Remembering Sundays... And also Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thurs...oh fucker. What did I do for the past couple of months?? Probably should, blog writing is an excellent tool for thinking. So far, I've spent my days in the house watching tv and surfing the net. I need something to make me wake up in the morning.. Then last night, I went out with my balikbayan cousins. We had dinner/inuman at Jack's loft then went partying in Manor. There's always something about parties. Now, I'm having my sembreak, it started last Thursday for my intake.. Awesome right..! So throw all the finals and worries behind and enjoy ! :) Oh, the feeling of not having any academic-related qualms and problems. It’s just ecstatic and addictive.

7 things that I need my sembreak to give me:
1. The beach – It’s been awhile since I last frolicked under your warm embrace. I miss being Sunkissed by you.
2. EK with friends- (special thanks to Bey) she invited us to have a magical day at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna at siempre libre nya entrance namin.. :)
3. NO 5- Lord, grant my wish, please, I pleaded and I bow down in front of you. I badly need your prayers to assure my chance of passing ALL my subjects.
4. DECLUTTER- Get rid of clutter that I no longer need.
5. Go to some trendy bar or club in a quiet area of the city with a couple of friends.
6. Fliptop battles- I've never seen a real rap battle in my life (yet). I badly need to see it. I wish I could just watch that and laugh... Because it is hysterical and well done.
I wish I could rap in such an effortless fashion.
Yeah, that's the way most rap battles go. One guy spouts a bunch of memorized lines that have nothing to do with the situation, and the other one chokes.
7. Hitting the road — just not as hard- Sure, the Mediterranean cruise or trip to Machu Picchu may be off the table, but that doesn’t mean everybody’s parking the car and staying home.
I'll add more to the list if I can think of them. There has to be more.
Well anyway, that is what I plan. We’ll see how things go.

The end result?... I LOVE my hair.

I have naturally black, long hair and I had it for about 15 years... Without a doubt I wanted a change but feared that I'd end up with something I wouldn't like but I was able to put together a series of looks. The new cut is a lot shorter, had my haircut similar to Pauleen Luna. I was pleased with the results. I took photo to the hairstylist and they FINALLY were able to give me EXACTLY what I wanted.

SO okey here are photos of my current haircut and this is going to be a final look for a long time. ♥

Second week of August... Prelims na.. The one week (other than FINALS WEEK) that brings me dread. the atmosphere is very tense.. all you can see are students holding their notes, memorizing things.. naaahh!! masingit ko lang.. COFFEE PRINCE Eun Chan and Han Kyul. I just can't get enough of this. Korea's most watched drama. I know it was aired last 2007 pa pero ngayon ko pa lang sya pinapanuod. If I can stay awake to see every episode shown in Animax I will earn a place in the Guinness Book of Records. My yaya asked me why do I have puffy eyes? Because Episode 13 I saw tonight errr it made me cry...

weeks of hella fun

Life is good. School is good. Boyfriend is good. (churva). Fun, fun, fun throughout the weeks. I was pleased with the way I rolled with the punches.

You know how you are having a great day, and you feel like nothing can hold you
down? And then suddenly, the unexpected happens.
I am totally annoyed last Monday and just want to get it off my chest.
The bad traffic jam in Imus could seriously give me high blood.
I was not able to attend my 3-6 pm class. The story is all too familiar. Luckily for
me, I do not have to go through traffic jams each day to get to my school.
Is that to say we have no control over whatever happens today, good, or bad?

Let me tie a couple of pictures together

overnight at Tet's house to finish up our thesis.

Overnight at JM's house super duper fun sa sprang kasayahan I had only 2 hours of sleep. We watched The Human centipede. One of the sickest and disturbing film I have ever seen.
Get the idea..?
Dr. Heiter is a mad scientist. He drugs his victims and dumps them into his Mercedes. When they regain consciousness, they find themselves tied to hospital beds. He provides them with a little slide show to brief them on his plans. Heiter plans to surgically join his victims by sewing together their mouths and anuses, all in a row, so the food goes in at the front and comes out of the rear. They will move on their hands and knees like an insect. It was not intended as a horror film but had the same effect on me by the end. It unsettled us for its entire duration, stuck in our mind long afterward, and continues. I dare you.

GA/PTSA at Beato avr, I was sick by so excuse my ugly face!

Rock band 3 new thy addiction. They've got got bass, drums, guitar, vocals.

after class dinner at Sicilian
doing Bengal bengal.

Random musings

June went by faster than I could ever imagine. The following days weren't bad. Like what I said, this last week went by fast but it was also a lot of work. Lots of syllabi, handouts, related lit. Reading and working on my thesis. I just wanna get this done! Along with that, Cris, Exxon, Bey and I signed-up to join APO. I never had any intention of joining. In fact my parents strongly advised me against it. I was extremely content with what college was already offering me. But there are many things that are appealing about that. I'm on the fence about whether or not I should continue. I had no idea what I was getting myself in store for. JK!!! I am not going to go into great detail..

Going back to SIC to get my yearbook

Newly elected LEC of PLSS-UST
During the APO's orientation

Finance and audit of PLSS-UST

night out at sky garden

I watched NBA draft 2010. Nemanja was the 35th pick in the draft. The Timblewolves took Nemanja Bjelica. Can somebody explain to me how this NBA thingy work??? OMG!!! Puhhleease Give him the contract . Sign the Kid.. He has talent and He is so NBA-ready..

Also, friends invited me to watch eclipse. I'm not interested. I did see Twilight but that's all about it. What else? Loving my Spanish and Art App. class. "Ano ba talaga ang dance" This vid has inspired me more to make my own documentaries. How should I start?? Bagong idol Mam Nerissa Guevarra..

Living the Life... of a College Student =)

As you know I just moved into my dorm. My school was far from my home plus I have evening class it is a good idea for me to live in a dorm. My first night in it was quite the experience. Dormitory life definitely gave me a glimpse of student life. Living in dorms are closer to the things I need, like the library and the computer labs. Or maybe it’s because the meal plan that comes with most dorms takes the pressure off having to forage for food, will give me more time to study. And think of all the potential study partners floating around the hallways or energetically highlighting our textbooks in the study lounge. All of these advantages don’t erase the fact that there are extra level of difficulty, like I wanted to watch Phineas and Ferb, I can't. Every morning I feel I was in damp prison cell, there is tv but no cable, no computer games alam mo yun "walang libangan" it can invoke all sorts of emotions leaving the comforts of home for the first time.
Happiness Starts with your Thoughts

It's time to make adjustments and create a happy ambiance, after all, it is a new phase of my life. The best ways me and my dorm mates cope with the loneliness by sharing late-night talks and snacks.
Not much to talk about- well, too much, but anyway.. My first week of school? So far so good. I know I have a pretty fun year ahead...
