October Flash!

With our adventure gear in tow, we spent our weekend at Lago De Oro (our second visit)

And of course there are parlor and spa services for those looking for more relaxing activities. There’s free wi-fi, cable TV and a conference room for corporate events or planning sessions allowing Lago de Oro to cater to almost any need.

Day 2
Wakeboarding buddies!
I gave it several good tries.
All of us were able to progress. A little bit of persistence will take you far. All those painful wipe-outs were definitely worth it!
The KL Girls, newly founded team haha!
Everybody needs to take a breather.
Had a quick snack at Mushroom Burger, Tagaytay before heading home.

Let's interact!!

We visited Miracle Art Exhibition displays a striking, playful, surreal designs exploring different themes: Nature, animal, theology, etc. I guess more than 30 paintings are shown to the public. The difference between this and most other exhibits is that visitors are encouraged to interact and become part of the artwork.
An optical illusion from a certain perspective. Once you get the angle correct it seems more real life than just painting. It’s a fun experience and it also makes for some great photo opportunities!

Don't miss this perfect opportunity to visit and experience this incredible three-dimensional art exhibition.

Water sports Adventure

My colleagues and I thought it would be a good idea to go wakeboarding. We spent our Sunday at Lago De Oro in Balibago, Calatagan, Batangas.. It was a three hour drive from Mandaluyong to Batangas and it was absolutely beautiful. Lago De Oro is perfect for those who have always wanted to try their hand at Wakeboarding or knee boarding. We arrived early in the morning. Though we didn’t get the best weather, we still pursued with our plans. After watching a couple of people on the water I was just wowed. Then it was my turn. It was a bit intimidating newbie na newbie ang peg

Breakfast at Mcdo Tagaytay
The beginner’s course is shorter. There is one line that goes to and from the base point, where you sit on a ramp, with your feet on the wakeboard. The beginner wakeboard was a slip-on. It was quite unlike the cool boards with the shoes on them.
Here is a photo of me getting into the water.
Clear your mind, listen to your instructor, and get ready to shred.
Most of the time I kept sinking. But will definitely give it another try.
In wakeboarding, all of your muscles will work simultaneously and will place a lot of strain on arms, legs, core and back.
Loser kid here!!
I shifted to kneeboarding with a few pointers I'm pro at it in no time. Haha!!
We'll definitely be back!

Drink and Draw

Drink and Draw at CommuneWorkshops are a great way to meet artists and instructors and make new friends! People at the workshop were pleasant and friendly. Felt privileged to learn from Isa Silva.

This was new for me, as I know absolutely zero about Calligraphy
